Announcements

Join hundreds of thousands of volunteers from throughout the United States and World on September 15, 2012 to collect and tally debris from our shorelines. The data will be compiled and sent to the Ocean Conservancy to be used to affect change in behavior and encourage legislation to reduce the amount of debris deposited in our oceans.

THANKS... What a wonderful day we had during the September 2011 cleanup. We had over 1,000 volunteers throughout the state who helped to clean 24 sites. They collected 18,590 pounds of trash from our waterways! and filled 493 bags! This helped to keep the debris out of our waterways, prevented it from washing into the Chesapeake Bay and eventually out into the ocean. Thanks to all our wonderful volunteers who came out and a special thanks to some of our great sponsors:
